This trailer is being shown by appointment only at the All American Quarter Horse Congress. There is a lot of buzz going around the show about it. There isn't much information known about it but it has been described as the Prevost Bus of horse trailers.

What is known is that it is 9ft tall, has three slide outs, auto leveling system, completely stainless exterior, very limited production, and lists for almost $400,000. The word around here is that there a numerous industry firsts in this trailer.

It's shown by appointment only so if you, yourself, or someone you know is looking for something like this you know where to find it!

I managed to take a few pictures of the exterior. Obviously, I couldn't get pictures of the interior because I'm not exactly qualified to make an appointment to see it!

Wow!  That is very, um, shiny is the first word that comes to mind!   Hopefully someone at the Congress will get the tour and be able to share a report.   Would be really fun to see the inside.

I can only imagine keeping all that stainless spotless.

If I could afford that,I don't guess I'd be the one keeping it spotless anyway.

I don't like it.  I think stuff that shiny/reflective is dangerous on the road.

WOW! I fell like "trailer trash" with my Sundowner now! This would be the ansewer to my husbands prayers (if he could afford it that is ~ not in this life time). He said our house is only cleaned after the horsetrailer, after the barn and after the tack room! We could all live in the same thing! And I would promise to keep it clean! LOL! We just couldn't afford to move it or eat! Hope someone qualifies for the tour! Love to see some pictures!

My beloved mule would be blinded!  I am sure I would love the interior.... The interest on that baby would buy a new King Ranch truck!

Why do they have to make those things so blinding.  I hate driving near them.  I like the stainless steel, but I prefer it with a copper bottom sitting on the stove with dinner in it.

It looks like a steel frame with a stainless steel skin. Wonder how much aluminum there is in the flooring and side wall structure. Don't think you would want to back under that with a F-550 or a Topkick 4500/5500!!! That trailer deserves a class 8 "Pete", "KW", "IH" or something in that order.

The box on top is a generator.  I had that trailer built for my wife and she deceided it was too shinny so we got an Exiss instead. So ya'll like my design...

That "dog box", is the enclosure for the diesel generator, which is running in the first picture. See the exhaust pipe sticking up with the  open rain cap!! I guess if you got an invitation to look inside, you could call ahead and have them set the temperature that you would like it to be.........When you came by for your visit. Wonder if the horse area is refridgerated.....$400,000 trailer should have an engine and steering wheel also! Someone will buy that to haul around some horses that they bought out of the killer pen at the sale....Some "wanna be" cowboy folks!! LOL! I believe I had rather have the money for some more land and keep hauling with what I got. Mine is paid for.

It is real interesting to read all the negative and derogitory comments....I would say that 3/4 of you would own this piece "IF" you could afford it....The "jealousy" factor rages when another manufacture trumps everyone else on a new idea. Fact of the matter is ....Sundowner has been and still is the leader in innovation in this industy...They raise the bar every year and then everyone has to chase their tails to catch up...WELL..guess what----here we go again!!!! I can guarantee this...if you had the money to buy a million dollar bus, but you wanted to be able to still get around after you arrive at your show...then this trailer nails it..BECAUSE..if you buy this trailer then buy the truck to pull it, you would still be under a million dollars..way below a million......This trailer was not made for a guy who has a yearly income of $60,000........This beauty is for the "players" of the world...and let me say this...the interior of this piece is a palace...no corner cut...nothing left on the table...many industry first's...NEWS AT 11....

SO....can Sundowner have some respect for being a leader in the industy ??

Can we get some feedback from people other than ones who have too much time on their hands and can't say anything nice anyway ???

Can we get some questions that are focused on pertinent items on the trailer ....NEGATIVE BREEDS NEGATIVE AND THERE IS TOO MUCH OF THAT IN THIS WORLD AS IT IS...

This is a great place to learn and ask questions...stick to that please....

Hope everyone has a great day !!!!!!!!...KEEP SMILIN!!!!

You may say it is for the "players" of the world, I say it is for the "phoneys" of the world, the ones who show up Friday morning at the trainers barn to pick up their horse for that weekends show. Then drop said horse back off on Sunday afternoon. I say the post above are saying what needs to be said, Pretty trailer, but over the top. I seem to remember that Cimmarron did one a few years ago, Bloomer does a couple a year now, so maybe Sunupper is just trying to play catchup? They will never be in the same league with Bloomer/C&C/4 Star, I don't care how many stainless trailers they build. Or how many "phoney" people out there buy one of them. Or "phoney" salesmen in Starched Shirts and Wranglers that sell them, you all know the type walking around with a perfect hat, Starched Shirt/Wranglers and the boot flavor for the month. My hat has a sweat ring and arena dust, my boots have horse sh*t on the bottom of them. I broke my own horse, and we win enough for me, and I probley wouldn't change if I had enough money to buy the Da*n trailer, So there you big feeling Some Beach.
