Hi folks. Hopefully I'm back for a while now. Had another week in the hospital. I found out that if the patient is truly obnoxious, the hospital will do all that is possible to effect an early release. By being my normal, charming self, I was out in record time.
Once again I want to thank the "family" membership for your kind thoughts. They mean a great deal to Donna and me. You lot are absolutely the best.
When you can, give your friends and loved ones an extra hug and sign of affection. The cliche' "Life is short" has never been more poignant. Every day and loved one is precious, enjoy them to the fullest.

"Three so far, two to go"
Two surgeries to go? It doesn't sound like much fun, but know you've got a lot of people out here thinking about you and sending prayers that you'll be back to your old self before too long.

Don't know much of the situation or the surrounding complications, but God does. You and your family are on the prayer list in the home group (bible study) my wife and I attend.
Praying for God's will and a speedy recovery. Christ takes care of those that are His.

Been wondering where you were, hope you are well on the mend and continue getting better and better with each day.Know what you mean about being in the hospital or a patient, like I was,in a different role than my nurse role for nearly a year when I had cancer, and, nurses can sure make it hard on their caregivers. We're not supposed to be sick but we're human enough!
