Pretty interesting.
that little doorway to the saddle compartment might be okay for english saddles... but I sure wouldn't wanna use it to haul out a $2500+ western show saddle.
How does it stand up to a horse kicking inside it?
How is the price comparison?
I bet my horse would freak out if he saw himself reflected back in those windows though. Despite his being a safe-sane Bubba QH.

Yes, I have seen one of those. Last summer at The Brickhouse actually. Me and the better half took the horses for a lap around it, had to see what make it was. IIRC it was a late 80's model?
May have even been that one. Are those local pics for you? Or are you pulling them in from somewhere else?

It's listed on E**Y... Think the trailer is in OHIO. It is the nicest, cleanest one I've ever seen. I don't ever remember seeing one when they were new.

I saw one of those at Congress a long time ago.. thought it was pretty cool, but never knew they actually produced a couple of them. I didn't like the back door going up like an SUV... but WOW, surely looks clean.

We sold several of those back when we in our early years as a Sundowner dealer. Every customer that had one; loved them. Pulled great, and were very stoudt made. Aluminum frame and fiberglass shell. I was told the last shell at Sundowner when they quit making them, was attempted to be crushed by a backhoe; but they couldn't crush it. They were definitely a well built trailer; but got too pricey to build.

I saw it on eBay, too. I've seen a couple on there before. In fact, I've been watching this one just to see where it finishes. It is over $3000, right now, and says Reserve Not Met. It IS 14 years old. I think it looks pretty cool and you would certainly get noticed, but I don't like that flip up door, either. I could certainly see a horse popping its head up and hitting it. Not mentioning the horse getting hurt, but it could easily mess up the door and then you couldn't shut it and what would you do to get home? Those arms that hold those doors up have a tendancy to fail over time, too. If that door starts sagging, that would be a big problem loading and unloading horses. Depending on the problem causing the sagging, it can be a very expensive fix. My husband used to have a DeLorean, with the gull wing doors, and one sagged(MINE, the passenger door), so you would have to try to hold the VERY heavy door up and duck under it to get in and out. He thought he could just replace the arm, but turns out it cost the guy he sold it to about $1000 to fix it.
