I w told by a dealer that the Bisons are made by an RV company and therefore the LQ area is usually really nice. Since I was more interested in the horse area, I moved on in my search, but it depends on what you are looking for I guess, and if the dealer was telling me the truth too!

I think Bison trailers are awesome and a great value. They are very spacious and I have one and would definitely buy another one. I have the 8316 with a bunk house. NO leaking anywhere!

The Bison AlumasportSE is the best buy. Alum. skin, Steel frame and wood floor. Just add a couple of options to the std. trailer and you've got a doable unit. Dollar for dollar hard to beat. You'll be happy with it!
Glass shower Note: An 8' wide trailer gives the horses more room and it makes a difference in the LQ's - people room. That extra foot makes a big Difference, great option.
A 4 horse w/ Mid Tack & Generator and a few of the options listed above can be done for around 60k...and again that is alot of trailer for the money. Be a great unit for a Trail/Pleasure Rider.

It's true that Bison was purchased by a RV plant. I think it was in 2000 by Monaco RV,and yes their interiors are very nice. I had no leaks what so ever!

We just bought an Exiss 3 horse with LQ at the Dixie Horse and Mule Company and while we were waiting, we went and looked at the Bisons he had in stock.
The most beautiful LQ trailer I've ever seen...had a 2nd entry mud room in back, a 16ft slideout with recliner, two fireplaces, lockable sleeping quarters, full sized kitchen...we ALMOST took the plunge and brought that back instead. 4 horse slant load. All the trimmings. Beautiful woodwork and lots of features. We were drooling.
Mike or JT will give you a good deal on that trailer, and BTW, our NEXT trailer will be a Bison of similar design and quality. Very nice.

I'm in the process of buying a 2008 Bison 8280. It's a 2 horse with a 8' SW with all the goodies I want in a trailer. It's the best bang for the bucks in my opinion.
