I'm looking for a horse trainer for my TWH. He's 3 years old. I live in Carroll County, Maryland. Is there anyone out there, that could help me?

There is a farm called Still Water Farm in Frederick MD that breeds and trains TWH.I Have a friend who has sent many horses there to be broke and trained.I have also met the guy and been on a few rides with him.If you are interested I can get his number and get back to you.

Roy Wagner might still take horses around hagerstown I think or Dave Jones in Boonesboro could give you a name of a trainer maybe.

I had been out to Roy Wagner's place years ago, with another trainer, Mark Harrison, but could not remember where he was located and didn't know if he trained other people's horses.

I also showed a few times with Dave Jones wife. What nice people, but again didn't know if they trained other peoples. I also had forgot his last name.

Thank you for your help, I will look them up !!!

I think Mark Harrison lives in Harford Co.  If you showed with Charlene Jones it must have been quite a while back.

It was quite a few years ago. Mark does live in Harford co. Good man, he took me and my first walking horse to his place and taught me how to ride. Came to his place with the intensions of staying 30 days, and wound up being there for 6 years !!! He trained 2 of my walkers. Wish he was still training, I learned so much about these horses from him.
