I am looking into purchasing a 2005 3 horse slant load Titan Avalanche II and I am wondering if there is anyone out there who has one of these trailers or a Titan trailer in general. What are your likes and dislikes? Anything you can share would be very helpful! Thank you!!!

Try doing a search on past forums with the Search button above. This brand has been brought up before and usually in a positive way. People I know that have them seem pleased with their investment.

I purchased my second Titan last fall, 2H Classic II. So far I like it, the dealer gave me more than what I paid for my first one making it hard to turn him down. The first thing I did was wash and wax when it got home. I didn't like the mats and replaced them with 3/4" thick mats. When I was shopping for a new trailer I'm close enough to the factory me and my wife drove down there just to look around, it gave me an idea what I wanted, liked and didn't need' making the trip well worth the time.

They are really nice trailers with a good guarantee. I've heard from people in the area of the factory that they have a great group of long time employees who build them and care about what they produce.

I have a 98 titan renegrade II. Paint is still in good shape. The trailer I have is a nice trailer. I get many compliements on it. Only thing I wished I had done is gotten the extra 2 ft in the dressing room and gotten a walk thru door to the horse area and stuck a wood lining on the front wall and also gotten a colapsable tack. The trailer has held up well. quite roomy. Its a 3 horse gn but I have hauled 5 in it easily with the the front divider out. I latch the back divider to where the front one would latch in and I can put 3 side by side facing the front behind it and 2 at a slant in front of it.
It has been a nice trailer for me. Pulls fine. Doesn't pull heavy.

You should contact Gary Robbs he sells Titan trailers in Romeo MI he will provide you with all the questions you might have. He is a very nice and honest person. From what I have heard titan trailers are great and people have no problems with them at all. His web site is www.robbstrailersales-horsefarm.com

I just had my horse transported in one of these and he kicks pretty badly, he put dents in the door where there wasnt any mats and where there were mats, he bent part of the outside of the trailer out. Other than that it seemed like a nice trailer but not for a kicker.

I own a 2004 Titan Avalanche, 3H GN. It if fully enclosed - drop down windows, with bars, on the head side, sliders on the butt side. Mats are partway up. I wish they would put the rumber on the solid wall between the LQ/dressing room and the horse area.
I have two doors at the back but no rear tack. I would prefer it if the 2 doors had separate latching mechanisms - like the doors when there is a rear tack. I would also have liked to have a window in the DR door. I bought off the lot though, and took what was available at a good price.
Larger windows in the horse area would be better too.
So far I am pretty happy with mine. A friend's mare decided to kick the crap out of it recently when we loaded a gelding.... No shoes on her. She was kicking a good 5 - 10 minutes on and off. A few minor dents in the uncovered metal on the inside. Nothing on the outside.
I know Trail Rider (above posting) and because of her experience and other mutual friends who own a Titan Classic, I decided to go with the Titan. I bought mine from Gary Robb also.

Hi! I have a 2006 3-horse, slant load for sale. Inside height is 7', it has an escape door on the 1st horse, a dressing room with a lockable latch, very nice rubber mats, and drop down windows with screens on bars. It is in great shape and has been a great trailer for us. It's easy to use and has lots of great features. Let me know if you would like me to send you some pictures. I am asking $9,200 and we live in St. Louis. Feel free to call me at 316-258-2542. Thanks!Courtney

Had a 2008 4 horse GN Avalance II. Liked most all of it except for no rubber on the slant wall and the saddle racks never held one saddle unless you tied them on. Windows and screens were a little on the light built side and had to replace a few screens in the year I owned it. Other than that a great trailer.

Ssourek,
This is an old post last updated two years ago. The best bet for you to sell a trailer is to put it on the "Horse Trailers for Sale" page of this site. Adding pictures and a good description will aid in your sale.
