I logged in after 1.13.0 and the first thing I noticed wasn't a new gun or a flashy event—it was how much less time I spent wrestling menus. If you bounce between solo runs and squad nights, the new Solar vs Squads setup just makes sense, and it pairs nicely with the way people are now trading and planning loadouts around ARC Raiders Items without turning the lobby into a chore. It's a small shift, but it changes the mood of a session.

Squads That Don't Fight You
The best part is how the party tools finally feel like they belong in a modern game. Anyone can send invites now, so you're not stuck waiting for the one friend who happens to be leader. You queue, you go. You'll also catch fewer awkward pauses where someone's like, "Hold on, I need to swap modes," because it's quicker to move between solo and group play. That flow matters when your squad only has an hour, and you'd rather spend it in the field than staring at a screen.

A Real Long-Term Project
The Trophy Display Project is the kind of goal that quietly hooks you. It's not "farm this once and forget it." You're scavenging with a purpose, and suddenly odd bits like rusted bulbs, pop triggers, and tick pods stop being trash you leave behind. The big win is that it isn't tied to expedition resets, so you don't feel punished for a bad run. Progress sticks. And when the rewards land—blueprints plus that huge 300,000 coin payout—it actually feels like the game's respecting your time, not just padding a checklist.

Store Sets and Small Fixes That Add Up
Cosmetics got a noticeable bump, too. The Sand Walker set is the one people will talk about, and yeah, it earns it: 1,300 Raider Tokens for gear that looks like it's been lived in, plus a gas mask and scarf setup you can tweak without it getting goofy. Alpine Rescue is fine if you want that colder, practical look, and the pickaxe tool has a nice "field kit" vibe. On the gameplay side, seven new quests help keep the routine moving, the old Buried City guitar puzzle is gone, and buying the guitar from Shanny for 70 credits is way less hassle than replaying a trick you've already solved.

Security, Stability, and Why It Feels Safer
Combat's cleaner now that ticks aren't forcing that clunky "stop and pull" moment—dodge-roll, shake them off, keep fighting. It's the kind of change you only appreciate when bullets are flying and you're trying to cover a teammate. The new three-strike anti-cheat policy is strict in the right way: 1) a 30-day ban, 2) a longer second hit, 3) a permanent ban, which should finally make repeat offenders think twice. Add in fixes for getting stuck in spots like D.A.M.N. Battlegrounds, and the whole game feels steadier, especially if you're gearing up for what's next and maybe looking to ARC Raiders Items for sale to stay ready for tougher drops.
