what kind of converter do I need?-- here is what I want--
I wasnt to have 2 deep cell batteries be charged by the tow vehical, then the batteries will supply power for the LQ- but I want to run 120 in the LQ and have a switch to change it to 12v if need be. The items I need to supply power to are. a small tv (16" tv/vcr combo), AC, mini fridge, and lights. sorry I am a moron when it comes to this stuff. But do not worry my electrical savy dad is going to do all the wiring- but he it will take him 3 weeks to get to the stor to buy everything- i need the wiring done by the end of the month-- so i thought i would go and pick it up first!

There is NO converter that is going to run your AC unit with 12V. And the mini fridge would usually run off LP gas when not on 120V, not your 12V system. Your lights are normally 12V, and the TV will have to be an AC/DC model otherwise you won't run it either.

Efaubert is correct mostly. Except with enough money, someone will build you a converter and 2000 pound batteries to run all the goodies you've listed for a week-end.
I'll add that the propane RV fridge will cost about 7-8 hundred dollars. I would only use the batteries for a few lights and maybe the TV. Anything else, I'd want a hook-up to the campground or a generator.
