have a new to me 2012 Dodge, I have been towing this trailer just fine with with my 05 Dodge, this new dodge is giving us a couple different messages, trailer disconnect, SP We, took truck an trailer to Dodge they say it is the trailer. Have changed out plug on the trailer checked trailer an it is grounded been working on this for hours anybody had this problem an might be able to help

Look at the trailer wiring section at the bottom of the HTW page. Verify that the wires on the trailer connector are connected to the appropriate function. Use a jumper wire from 12v + on a battery to each prong of trailer wire and see what works. Ground trailer frame to 12v - side of battery.

Are you using the same controller in the 2012 that was in 2005?...If not, have you confirmed the controller in the 2012 is compatible with electric over hydraulic?
