Hi everyone - I am in the market for a new trailer and have narrowed it down to the Trails West Adventure II. I have been told by two dealers that my horse won't fit or it will be tight. Reno is a 16.1 quarter horse. Reno isn't real bulky or real long. He has been in a Circle J Riata and a Circle J 2 horse straight load. The straight load was tight. I am being told by the dealer to go with the Classic style. what baffles me is that we are talking about a couple inches. How can a couple inches make that much difference. Thoughts? If he has been in a Circle J Riata, I believe the specs are the same as the Adventure II. Anyone have one and how big is your horse?

The easiest thing to do would be to take a tape and measure each of the stall (Riata and Adventure II). If the measurements work out to the same size he's used to be hauled in you should be good to go. If you don't have the Riata anymore find one for sale on here and ask them to measure the stall for you.
