I am looking at an 07 Silverlite 3H GN & have a few questions.  I have tried contacting their office in Springfield, OR, but no luck.

Have they gone out of business?

Yes, they went out of business several years ago. I am very familiar with their trailers though and can try and answer any questions you have. Thad

I have an older ( 1999 ) Silverlite trailer and we still like it very much. I think the construction quality is pretty good.

I'm back with a question.

Loan officer wants a picture of the VIN of the trailer.  Where in the world would that be located?

I am looking at a 2004 Silverlite Roper, 3 horse.  I have a very nice weekender LQ trailer now, but am looking for something just a little larger.  I like the layout of the Roper and am hoping that since it is all aluminum, it will not be any heavier then our smaller steel/aluminum trailer I currently have..  Tow with a 3/4 ton, so weight is an issue.  Is there anywhere I can find the dry weight for a finished Roper IV?

The one I am looking at also has the extended roof height over the bed area.  Does this design cause any problems?

Are the Silverlite a well made trailer, would you recommend them?   And why did they to out of business.

Thanks Bev

here you gohttp://www.iinet.com/~hkatz/V1%20I6%20SilverLite%20Trailers.pdfhttp://projects.registerguard.com/csp/cms/sites/web/business/24687262-41/trailers-company-silverlite-horse-aluminum.cspwe have a 2006 silverlite (got it used a few years back) and we love it. Very well made and with careful touches. I like the latches on the dividers and how well it's insulated. it's holding up very well to our horses (18h close to 2Klbs draft and recently a my wife mare QH has been kicking a lot......).
