I just purchased a 1999 4 star trailer that has a raw aluminum finish. It has just been
acid washed. Would applying a clear coating be beneficial? I am new to aluminum. Will acid washing it every year break down the aluminum? My husband says the oxidation
gives the aluminum a protective layer, but I like it when it shines. Any comments?

I just purchased an insulating coating for my fiberglass trailer, but when I was on the website I got it from, they had some really good, clear coat finishes, that help protect from water and stuff. I was looking into the PermaClear product they have listed for one of my sheds because it's made out of aluminum.

I've had really good results with their stuff so far...

check them out... www.hytechsales.com

Hope it works for you as well!!
