OK,here's a question,and some of you may think,"What the,why bother??"

I have a 95 model Sooner BP,2H slant. It has a rear tack, plus a small dressing room with bridle hooks.Does anyone have ideas on what I might could use to 'pad' the wall behind the bridles? I think they may have put their bridles in the back on the saddles all those years, because, the walls are in really good shape, and I'd like to keep them that way.Whenever the bigs and buckles bang around,it does some scratching, you know.

It is solid aluminum,no skin, and an oldie, but goodie. It has more lights than a Christmas tree, and I was lucky to find it.Drop down windows, too.Clean as a whistle,so,I'd like to do something to keep the dressing room walls nice.I'm thinking that anything I might stick on will eventually come off from heat, ect.

Any ideas on this silly idea?

Ive seen quite a few with that gray outdoor carpet on the wall, I would assume liquid nails would hold it up there pretty well.

Use indoor/outdoor carpet. You can buy a spray glue at Home Depot or Lowes. There are several different ones. I used the 3M and it worked well for me. Spray the back of the carept and the wall both, let it get tacky, then start. Start at one edge with your glue and work your way across, spraying a little at a time (easier to correct any mistakes that way).

An excellent question, and one I've been dealing with myself without realizing it.  I've just been draping a towel over the hooks before putting anything on them.  Thank you for asking... I don't think I would have realized there WAS anything that could be done.  (Dumb, I know.)

I also used the 3M adhesive to glue some extra burber carpet that I had to the wall behind my bridle hooks. I ran the carpet down to the floor. Now, I can stick the velcro on my splint boots and over-reach boots to the wall and keep my leg boots organized. Works great!
