Well we didnt' trail ride but Uncle Marc came up to go turkey hunting, fishing and relaxing for Cody's birthday weekend Fri and Sat. They didn't shoot any turkeys didn't even hear one, but got alot of fishing in. The three boys (Cody, hubby and Uncle) also got Du, our new pup, trained in "gopher killing", it was a comical event with a few battle wounds, but all were o.k. Enjoy the few pics...............

Cody and Pop, looking out to the cattle.....
 -

Du getting down on that gopher!
 -

Cody and Uncle Marc showing off their catch, Uncle hooked this one and gave the pole to Cody to reel in, Cody got him landed all on his own!
 -

This is a "small" large mouth that hangs out in our pond. This pond is a "bass kicking" fishing hole!!!! Catfish too!
 -

Hope all enjoyed!

I swear, girl, there are a couple of those pictures that I would consider submitting to "Country" magazine if I were you! The one of Cody and pop looking at cattle, and esp.that one of Cody,Uncle Marc and Du are PRICELESS! They deserve a photography award!

No kidding have you ever looked at those issues of Country magazine, just such photos as yours go in that mag! Those are great!

I agree, that first one of Daddy and Cody is priceless.  What a good looking Aussie !  My Aussie is 11 now, still herds the girls on their bikes !

yeah, the pup was an early b-day gift for Cody. She is from very high quality show stock, but we aren't show people, just wanted a well bred Aussie, no crosses......
