I have a titan livestock trailer and I love it. I was thinking about getting a titan horse trailer. What are the good and bad points about them? Are they just as good as their livestock trailers?

I bought a new 3 horse Classic I gooseneck three years ago and am very happy with it. It is a basic trailer, but it is functional, solid and in my limited experience, handles very well. I would like to have some of the bells and whistles that are available, but the fact is, this is what I could afford and think it is a good trailer for the money. If you do a search, you will find that many people say similar things about their Titans.

I bought one last year (3 horse gooseneck) and I love it. Is it as fancy as some of the others? No (not mine at least) but it has all the basics I needed and it's holding up very well. I LOVE my 4 ft short wall in the dressing room!

Relative of mine bought a Titan Renegade II in 96, and it has done well. The bearings were kinda cheap Chinese junk, so about year 3 they looked not so good when she had the bearings packed, so they replaced em with the USA ones, and no other issues.

I have a 2000 Titan Renegade II 4 horse with a 6' short wall that I bought used in 2003. I have been pleasantly surprised with this trailer. I bought it because it was what I could afford at the time thinking I would get a nicer aluminum trailer a year or two later. I still have it, and it has been a very good trailer. It has all the neccesities, and has held up very well so far. There are places where the horses have pawed at the outside when tied outside that have scratched the paint, but due to the galvaneal steel, there is no rust. Sure I would like to have a newer, nicer, fancier aluminum trailer, but I have been very satisfied with this one. It is heavy, but pulls very well.

I bought a 2-horse Titan Avalanche II just about a year ago, couldn't be happier. I consider it the "high end of the low end" trailers.
I liked the fact that I could order it "a la carte" - adding what I wanted, declining what I didn't need. There are some nice features that you can get like a window in the dressing room door, loading light, etc.
I have the tack rack that can either go in the dressing room, or in the back. I have used it in both places but now leave it in the back which offers me more room in the DR. But if you have a horse that needs to off load face first, folding that tack area back is a big plus. I paid just over $8000.
It is heavy, as expected, but hauls well and has given me no trouble so far. While it is mostly the galvaneal, there is some hardware that is not galvanized, so these parts are showing a little surface rust.

I had a 2000 classic II 3 horse that I hauled for 7 years. Never had any problems. I liked the telescoping dividers in mine. My door on the dressing room would pop open going down the road soon after I bought it. We had to tweek on the door every spring and that would last the show season. I would have bought another one if I hadn't gone to an alumn.

I have a 2005 titan 3 horse bumper pull avalanche how much does this trailer weigh? Can I pull it with a truck with a 5000 tow capacity? With max of 1 horse in it?

Had an '08 4H Renegade with mid & rear tack, front dressing room. Traded for a Cimmarron LQ. Put about 8k on it in a year and no problems. Only thing I would change is the latch on the dividers as the mechanism sticks out when unlatched and tore some horse blankets as the horses was backing out. It you put latch in the closed position when the divider was open, was no problem. Only other thing is that the saddle racks don't hold worth a darn as saddles fall off. Put some 1/2" pipe insulation on them and that help. Good heavy steel trailer with above ave. paint.
