I have been trying to email Trailer USA (Trailers4Horses.com) as I recently bought a used one and after 5 tries they have not responded.  Are they out of business or is their customer service that terrible?

On their website they say to contact  one of their retail dealers in your area. They don't sell directly to the public. I guess they don't have any P.R. or trouble shooter people! Where did you buy the trailer? (dealer, or individual

I bought from an individual, not a dealer.  I did contact 2 dealers and heard back from 1 of them.  I'll keep trying.

Thank you Diamond D.  When I bought the trailer it was registered with the Max weight of 7000#.  Here in NYS they use the unloaded weight for registration.  I have been trying to contact Trailer USA to get the unloaded or shipping weight so I can re-register the trailer.  The DMV here told me an official email or a copy of a bill of lading would be acceptable to them.  Thank you for any info or help.

In TX and NM you can take you trailer to any scale and get a certified reciept to show the actual weight.  Most feed yards, gravel yards and truck stops have certified scales and can weigh it for you.  Before you take your trailer in take EVERYTHING removeable out.  I took out my dividers and spare tires and saddle rack when I got it weighed for my NM tags since they charge $1 per 100lbs.

Again thank you Shane.  The VIN is 1T9AA1228YF529105.  It is listed as a year 2000 Trailer USA.  It is not listed as to the actual model.  I am figureing a SS thoroughbred by the discriptions and specs listed on various web sites.  Thank you all for your replys.
