I would go with the Atwood. It's all I install in my LQ's.

Atwood is the largest manufacturer, for what is worth...

Are you doing a self-installation?

If so, is it a replacement or new installation?

If its a replacement, I would go with a replacement of what you take out to simplify installation...

If its a new installation, check the measurements of both products at the first site and choose the one that fits your trailer the best and provides the easiest installation...(Laziness is the Mother of Invention...)

If a dealer is doing the installation, ask them which one they'll give the better warranty on...

Anyone ever go with an on-demand type water heater?

Only in a house. Installed an electric that uses a lot of amps, needs a separate circuit. Would think the gas ones would be more efficient, but more difficult to install; gas source, electronic ignition, separate circuits etc.

I recently saw one installed in a Toterhome. Propane fired. Like $1000 plus labor. And it was RV rated.
