I haven't been to the ranch, but they couldn't pay me enough to get me inside Mexico. Last time I was there, I felt very unsafe and insecure in Mexico City. Banditos are waiting for the turistas. You are flying to Mexico City, correct? I sure wouldn't drive in Mexico. Let us know how your trip turns out, and good luck!

we will be picked up at the airport by the ranch people and they also take us back for our return flight.   we do go into a town in the mountains for market day on a friday but again we will be accompanied by the ranch hands.

thanks for the warning..we will be extra careful...my hubby is a big, young, (mean looking), strong man!

Don't forget your passport and don't drink the water. Bringing horses? Give them probiotics. have fun!
