It says FRP, but in my line of work, FRP is fiberglass reinforced plastic. Derned tough stuff - almost indestuctable. It's gonna be quieter and cooler but heavier than aluminum. Looks like the frame work is aluminum. Looks like a nice little trailer.

the ad says reinforced plywood.......Isn't this the same technology of some boats? But the trailer looks like it is in excellent shape!! considering it is a 1996 model

The key thing to look for in an FRP trailer is that they were completely sealed around windows, doors, etc when they were made. You can take a quarter & tap all along the outside of a window or door - if there is a spot where it wasn't sealed properly & water has gotten in, it will be a different sound. When water has seeped it, it will cause the FRP to delaminate - NOT a good deal since you can't replace a small section, it would have to be major.
