Well... 55 x 8.64 pounds per gallon, I think you'd need a crane to move it.
I don't know why you would want to though. Lay it in the bed of your pickup - on either side of your gooseneck hitch if you have one, and fill it and go. Just think - after a day sitting in the sun, it would be warm enough for a bath!!

Well nice I geuss.We have 55 gallon white food grade plastic barrel in back of pickup(husband put facet/spicit?) and sitting on base(2 by 4s cradle /connected).Cost about $4.00 free barrel paid for valve.Had bought pricey water 35 gallon tank from TSC and with 2 we have water for week or so(I love showering alot when hot n dusty on trails.Also have extra water for few horse baths too.

A friend I camp with has one similar, though it's nicer I think. She got it through Farnum and it has a pump that you connect to your cigarette lighter. She fills it up once it's already in her truck bed (so it's light), and has been happy with it for about ten years now. I'll look for the website.

I found it. It's called the Eventank and it's on www.equineusaonline.com. It's available in 35 and 55 gal. sizes, and only weighs 12 lbs empty, so easy to tote to and fro the truck. My friend likes hers and seems to be able to have horse drinking water as well as bathing water whenever she needs it. I don't know if hers is the larger size, but I suspect so. Kinda pricey compared to your $40 one, but it includes a pump.
