I have a couple of questions. I would like to buy stall fans for my trailer and was hoping someone could suggest a brand. Also, if I add stall fans do I need to add an additional battery? Which leads me to another question. Where can I find an aluminum battery box for under the nose of the trailer? Thank you in advance for any help.

I have stall fans in my trailer; they just run off 12 volt like the lights, no extra battery necessary. My "trailer guy" installed them for me so no idea where he bought them, but have seen them in Farmtek.com and also northerntools.com. Probably most trailer supply sites can furnish them; they cost around $35 I believe.

I've had two types of fans and make sure you get the heavier duty type - one set has lasted for 10 years and still going strong, though I have sold the trailer.  They really make a difference here in south Fla and keep them cool when you're sitting at a light, etc.  no extra battery needed.

I was also wanting to add fans in my trailer. My question is  what size fan did you  use and where did you place the fans? Thanks!!!

I have tried Jazz Sales for a battery box and corner shower unit. They will not sell to anyone who is not a RV/Living Quarter dealer. They wouldn't even give me a price on these items. My trailer dealer already gave me a price on battery boxes. They were too high. Anybody else sell them?

Jazz sales was kind enough to call and tell me that they work w/a guy near them called Billy w/Prolube & Tune.  He will drop ship to you.  His phone # is 417-744-2357. (I hope this is okay to post his # here - I will remove in a few days if I don't hear otherwise).  I haven't tried yet to order through him. Has anyone else?

The company that made the trailer installed the fans so I don't know the brand, just that the 2nd trailer had larger heavier duty fans.  They were all placed at the end of the stall (slant load) so the air blows across the horses's back towards the head.  The turn on/off switch was in the DR on both trailers.

I have several items installed on my horse trailer from this company...Richfield Trailer Supply in Michigan.  I can't say if they are expensive or not ... it was a matter of "who has the parts I want".

Another website that I find interesting...
