Did Lost River this past weekend, had a great time. The views are awesome from the top of Big Ridge. The trail up switchbacks quite a bit but is decent it's about an 800' climb. You may encounter the park guided string and are asked to yield to them, it's a bit narrow in spots so you will have to climb up a bit on the side. We stayed at Big Ridge campground and Leroy could not have been any nicer, the camp has full hookup very reasonably priced, corrals are homemade pipe corrals, nothing fancy but fine, take some shavings or straw the floor is dirt. The camp was clean and quiet, we ended up staying an extra day. Sunday climbed up to Piney Ridge Road another beautiful spot riding up top. Coming down Copse Cove it is very steep in places, once you start you are committed, make sure you have a calm sure footed mount!. Definitely going back a few other trails we did not do. If you are ambitious the entire park can be covered in a weekend, we prefer to take in the scenery.Rich
