I am considering having WERM in my trailer. I am curious if anyone has any input on how the WERM compares to the EZ Clean flooring...are they comparable or is there a definate advantage to one over the other? Also, I was quoted by the nearest WERM dealer a price of $1,350 for a 4 horse Jamco, reading other posts this seems a little high? Curious of any helpful input.

Well no experience with ez-clean but I had WERM put in a 3horse 8 wide with mangers and they did under the mangers area. In Lincoln, Nebraska cost $808.00.

And worth every penny.

I am in Middle Tennessee and I was told by WERM that the closest installer to me in Mount Vernon, IL or Oklahoma City, OK.

Have an acquaintence (sp?) that has all of the WERM stuff that he got from a closed dealer, and WERM tells him that they don't have time to teach him how to use it & won't support him if he does.... So maybe if there's another company out there that is interested in setting up dealers.....

I got the same storie when I e-mailed the company on 4-24-07.  Said that they did not have time to train new dealers. I am not driving my trailer 200 plus miles to have WERM  installed. As few as dealers that they seem to have I would think they would be busting their behinds to open new dealers. I think this could be a sign of trouble with the company and/or product.

I just got off the phone with them and they are quite busy retraining 4-Star aluminum trailer installers and helping 4-Star get their trailers out at the moment...

Cecil he said that he told you he was keeping your data and would be getting back in touch with you...

One of the programs I discussed with him was a training program at their headquarters and then some supervised floor installations at the 4-Star factory before they turned you loose on an unsuspecting public...

2 or 3 YEARS ago I called them since we have no one close here either & inquired about a dealership - they were too busy then too - & also said "no more dealers at this point".  They took my phone number to let me know when they would be taking on new ones & never heard a word from them.  I decided I didn't need WERM at that point.

Reply to not signing up new dealers:

We realize it is a hassle to drive any lengthy distances to get our product installed. However; we are very selective as to whom we have install our product to ensure our customers receive the best service possible. Right now we are strictly looking for trailer dealers and/or manufacturers that are going to use the product on a regular basis to maintain continuity. The only problems we have ever had with our product have been a direct result of human error. Its not terribly difficult to install, but there are precise procedures and steps that must be followed. We are taking our time and signing up the right people so that our top priority, our "customers", are receiving the care that they deserve. We at WERM are always looking for our next good dealer and are interested in speaking with anyone who is serious about using our product.

Please call us with any questions. 1-800-350-7564

I have been a WERM dealer for a year and until now have never read any negative things about WERM. Becoming a dealer takes a lot of time and energy. I have been in the flooring business for 15 years so that is one of the reasons that I was given the opportunity to become a dealer. Kris will take any one on board as a dealer from what I understand, and I do not believe that he is to busy to train dealers like some one had said. Him being busy is not a sign of trouble for him or the product, it is a sign of growth. If you are looking to become a dealer just to do your own trailer or your friends trailers, it is not worth investing your money in the equipment. WERM is not that hard to learn but you need to be doing it on a regular basis or you and your customer will not be satisfied with the product. Two things WILL happen if you are just looking to become a dealer for that reason. Your customer will not be satisfied and that will not be good for your business and you will be giving WERM a bad name and that is not good for all of the other dealers that are doing it right. WERM is a quality product that has been proven to be great in the horse industry for years and any other product claiming to be like WERM is just a WERM copy cat and has not stood the test of time like WERM has.
