We are looking to upgrade into a 15' shortwall trailer. Who do we need to look at doing the LQ conversion? We have a trailer with TMP but they are no longer in business or I would be back. Two dealers I have quotes from want to use Outlaw.
Who do you suggest. We like custom detail. No fancy lighting or fixtures just really put together well. I also am not going to pay money for the house trailer type finish. Nothing wrong with it but its not what I am looking for. We like real wood..we have decided on Hickory in natural finish.

Check out JNJ Conversions at http://www.jnjconversions.com/. We also use real hardwood in our cabinetry and moulding, which we make in house in our cabinet shop! We are also 100% custom, you can make your LQ look like whatever you want!!

I woud look at JNJ conversions. I had my trailer done there and they truly design it for you. There cabinets are solid wood not wood fronts like must of them are. Take a look at there web site you will not be disappointed. Great people to work with!

You might also consider the time it will take to finish your trailer. Some companies take as long as 14--16 weeks out. Been there---done that. Some companies get in a huge hurry to push them through---and quality suffers.we currently are dealing with the end results. High end trailer---poorly done interior. We picked our trailer up--the bathroom had a beige toilet, white shower, and black sink. Also, be careful about "up grades"--every little thing---the price seems to go up. So choose wisely, and ask alot of questions. wish you luck.

Good deal guys. Tx I agree with your statement. My personal gripe with outlaw is they seem to have a "cookie cutter" type attitude about LQ conversions. I am looking for a custom interior with someone who wants to cater to me and my money. I kind of get the feeling with them that this is the way we do it and we dont change. I have also been told they are four months out for a converion. This is ridiculous to me but its not my company so I dont know. I personally am not going to wait 6 to 7 months on a trailer. So far in talking with most they are about 8 weeks out and most can guarantee a slot. For the guy who likes the freedom creek LQ's you need to check out Petes Conversions in SD. They are immaculate. Probably the best detail I have seen in anything with a conversion. I hear he does excellent work as well. I have also heard that freedom creek has changed owners again but that is hear say.

Go to http://www.auctiontrailers.com/, they are located in Iowa, does a wonderful job. Uses real wood not the pressed kind. We had the knotty pine put in. He has some floor plans on his web site and pictures of trailers interiors. He will change floor plans to met your needs. Ask for Kenny
Will work with you on what you want and explain in detail the why's and why nots.
