Titan makes steel trailers with the rumber floor, my trailer before the one I have now was set up that way, I thought the rumber was kind of slick, so we put rubber mats in. They say the rumber will never rot since it is made of recycled tires.

I have a '97 2H with the rumber floor and it's a great floor. No issues whatsoever. I do have an aluminum frame and get that checked periodically. I don't use mats with it as it provides cushioning for them and then I don't have those heavy mats to haul out to clean the floor. I've never experienced any slippage with the floor in almost 10 years of regular use. (trailer 2-5 times a month year round)
Rumber is as the previous poster said, recycled rubber in sheets that is used instead of wood or aluminum. Far superior in durability, but it does cost more.
I've seen it in both Steel and Aluminum trailers. Usually as an add-on option. Ask your trailer maker if he offers it. If you are buying a used trailer, you can install in any trailer just like 2x6 planks of wood. Check the support website for support size and spacing.

I bought a "Monarch" by Classic. They have rumber floors in their trailers, even the less expensive one, the "Cavalier". This is a STANDARD option on their trailers!
Love my new trailer! This trailer came standard with so many things! Just look and you will find some great deals! The Horse-Expo (an annual event)is a great place to buy a new trailer.

I bought a Classic Westerner 3 horse slant load bumper pull... Love that trailer. And as the other poster said, these trailers all come with the rumbar flooring. My arab, and my Quarter horse stand well and don't slip even when we go to the foothills for rides. REALLY easy to clean out too. Just pressure hose out and let dry. No corrosion problems or dry rot/ wet rot. The walls just shrug off the bumps from other folks horses too.

On the post of replacing 2x6 boards, be careful. Rumber's installation procedures call for cross-member spacing that is closer together that a wood floor generally has. Hence, one of the reasons it is an extra cost option is they have to build more frame from the trailer factory. Wouldn't want to see a direct changout & then an accident from sagging Rumber floorboards.
