I just purchased a used Cherokee trailer. What should I use to keep the alum clean and protected?

I would like to know also, as my trailer has "runs" on it that I am unable to remove. Any ideas?  Yes I had it acid washed and it did not remove them.

RV dealerships (and Walmart)  sell black streak remover.
Take it to a big semi-trailer truck wash (Blue Beacon) and have them acid wash and wax the entire rig.
You can use Simple Green (diluted as manufacture suggests) to clean painted aluminum then seal with a good car wax.
