Are you supposed to wax the white skin areas of the Elite trailers? I keep my covered when not in use but would like to wax it IF I NEED TO. I don't want to create unnecessary work.

Not sure if you have to, but you will want to. Good coat of wax helps keep the black streaks off, and when they do get on you can wipe them off very easy.
Think of it this way, it's a piece of painted metal just like your car. Lot's of people never wax their cars either.

If you wax it with a good paste wax (Mothers, McQuires) once a year, you will have a much easier time keeping it clean. I like to use the spray on - wipe off wax in between major waxing. Your trailer will always look new. BTW, congrats on the Elite. They are super trailers!

I have a white skinned trailer that I wax 2 times a year. In the spring I wash it and get the black streaks off and give it a good wax. I usually wash the outside about once a month after that and the inside every time I use it. In the fall, I will wash it really good and give it another coat of wax before the rains come.
