Must be another goodrich than i"m familiar with,,,If your talking about the one in Wis....Yes the trailers they are offering are very user freindly, and do use the space wisely. But thats along way from Florida

Well i'm partial to the one I bought from them , but I must say I'm impressed with the quality and workmanship that we got for the price we paid for for our trailer. We bought ours at the congress show in Ohio and couldn't be happier. Is the one you're looking at a keifer built?

I live about 8 miles from GoodRich'e Trailer sales here in Wi. I know from my experience in just talking to them I was not Impress with there sales and parts Dept. That's just my opinion, from pass experience.

I think it is funny how the grass is always greener. I live only a half hour from Goodrich's and always found them very difficult to deal with. We purchased one of our trailers in the Dakotas and another in Minnesota and were willing to travel quite a distance for good service and much better deals. They do have wonderful interior designs however but this is consigned from what I am aware. JMO

Service problems in the future? Hmmm, Florida and Wisconsin are quite far away from each other. Once you get the trailer and something comes up with it in the future are you going to haul it back up to WI? Are they going to come running down to your place to check it? Probably not. Unless the brand you are looking at has a dealer close to you then maybe it would work. Otherwise I would keep looking.

I live about an hour from them, and while I have not dealt with the personally, I did refer a friend to them several years ago. She ordered a new LQ trailer & was very happy with the trailer & the service.

Very happy with the Goodrich gang. We've got a Genesis 440 LQ. Only problem we had in 1.5 years was that the water inlet had a low spot. Easily fixed.
They don't do a hard sell - they're a family business and I found them to be knowlegeable and fair. They provided a great deal of info over the net - pics, detailed info and were very helpful in the sales process. And their prices were very good as well.
I'd recommend them and buy from them again based upon our purchase experience.
The overall LQ design in our case was very well thought out (yes, they do sub the LQ work out - call them and ask about it).

We're one three couples that live about an hour away from Goodrich's. Last spring all three families bought brand new LQ trailers. I just plain don't like those goofy Kiefers. The other two families bought Kiefers from Goodrich's. I'm happy with my dealer, but I gotta tell you, Goodrich's catered to our friends like you can't believe. From the pre-sales process, through closing, to after sales follow up they really got the job done. They know their trailers, stand behind what they sell (even to the point of trading out a ramp for an extra spare tire three weeks after the sale!). I won't ever buy a trailer there because of the brands they carry, but I'm more than a little impressed by how they handle their customers. Folks that can't get along with that dealership must have a severe personlity conflict with someone there or else are extremely unreasonable and demanding.

I am new to this forum stuff, but I happened to see the comments on Goodrich Trailer Sales. I have to tell you that we drive 1.5 hrs. to use Goodrich Trailer Sales and it is worth every minute of the drive. They are fantastic. We are in the process of purchasing another horse trailer from them. We have also used them to install fifth wheel hitches, etc. and they are very reasonably priced with their service, too, and stand behind everything they do. They are very accomodating when it comes to sending photos, answering questions, etc. We bought a KB from them five years ago and have been extremely happy with it. We have referred everyone we know to them. Their new location on 94 right on the freeway should be good for their business. It is a family owned business and it shows. They're great!

Hello all. I've been browsing this forum for a while, but never posted. I would be careful going that far away for a trailer. I know when I tried to buy my Exiss I did the same thing. Great price....drove 6 hours...not exactly what I was hoping for. I couldn't exactly turn around and go home empty handed. Luckily no service issues yet, but I know I will have some in the future as all things will break. If I had to do it all over again, I'd buy local. I'm fearing I'll have a hard time if something goes wrong, and I DO NOT want to drive back. Stay local if you can. Price lured me in, and I didn't stop to think about the other stuff. Good luck.

Okay, this may be a dumb question, but can't you have the trailer serviced by a local dealer carrying the same brand? Doesn't the warranty come from the manufacturer, not the dealer? Kinda like with automobiles where you don't have to go to the dealer you bought the car from for service??
I'm buying a trailer from a dealer 17 hours away, in part because the two closest dealers for the chosen brand couldn't be bothered to call me back or help me with my questions and the dealer (local) for the other brand I was considering has had three chances now to get back to me with a quote and still hasn't done so. On the flip side, the service areas of the dealerships of my chosen brand have been great at answering my questions and helping out. Guess it is just the salespeople who don't want to help?? In any event, the trailer is going to be delivered to my door, so I don't have to make the 17 hour trip myself. Figured I'd use the closest dealer's service area if/when needed. Unless they won't work on trailers from other dealers??

Well, that could be touchy. A lot of trailer manufacturers don't pay warranty very well. So the sales dept. ends up subsidizing the service dept. So, if you didn't buy it there, they might not be very receptive to servicing it under warranty.
Also- some dealers don't use the factory LQs. So if your new one isn't true factory, you might be locked into the selling dealer. If in doubt, ask him/her for a detailed explanation of how it'll work to get work done elsewhere.

I have had problems with the frig or items in the living quarters over the years and one frig under warranty these items can be warrantied even at a regular camper dealer most of these items are sold by all dealers, you can get the brand dealer in you area to do warranty work you may have to pay the labor. I had a brand new converter go out and went to a camper dealer and the converter company even paid the labor.
I have gone as far away as 700 miles to get a trailer due to a better deal and have a local dealer to do some work to it, if he couldn't trade with you he can't be mad at you if you can save money else where if he does is he worth dealing with.
