What type of adhesive/glue would you use to adhere the black matting to the walls of your trailer. We would rather not use any type of rivot or screw! We bought a used LQ GN, and the black matting is falling off the walls. We had a terribly HOT summer with lots of humidity, so thus the adhesive failed!! We are going to re-apply the matting, so any help would be appreciated! (The trailer is 4 years old)

I've used the PL Construction Adhesive to adhere wood to the metal surfae of our trailer but you would have to clamp it someway to get it to work. One I've heard of that's really good but I haven't used is the Loctite Power Grab Adhesive. It supposedly sticks without clamps. You can get both from Home Depot or Lowes.

Locktite is good. I had pretty good luck with a simple silicone caulk; it has good adhesive qualities and still allows a little movement. Also used it to glue carpet over my saddle racks. Good longevity from both projects.
