If this is a private individual hauling his/her own horses - they probably have suddenly become "commercial", with everything that entails.
BTW, this might be only true in Mass, but it is my understanding that all signage on vehicles must be "permanent", e.g. no sheets of magnetic rubber or printed tarps.
{I know, paint can be painted over, sanded off, etc.,}

a big horse transporter out of kentucky who has 15 horse trailers, sells advertising on the sides of their 48' trailers. i refuse to advertise their name but, theyre big.

About 3 weeks ago there was a young college student doing this exact thing. He was traveling around the NW and needed help paying for his rodeo fees. I think his reserve was $500 for the year.
