Hello. I just had polylast flooring installed in my trailer, the drain through nonporous one. Anyways I noticed they made it ramp up along the butt wall. About 6 inches from the wall it ramps up about a 1/4 inch. When you have your back to the wall you can feel it and obviously you can see it. I know my kick mats are slightly jagged along the floor due to the trailer being 12 years old but I can't figure out why they would do that instead of keeping it level? Is this normal for the flooring to be installed like that in this type of situation? Im confused. Before I asked them why I wanted to educate myself by asking other polylast dealers and users. Thanks

I had the Equi-Flex installed in my trailer and they did the same thing. Also built it up in the corners. He said is was so stuff would not collect there. Have you ever noticed how dirty the corners get, and how hard they are to clean? Sounded like a good idea to me. I really like the flooring. It is not as easy to sweep out as I thought it would be. But that means it is not slippery for the horses. So far so good.

I just got a call back from polylast and it is to help keep horses from sliding down the wall and digging into the floor at any point during a haul when bracing themselves. Makes sense! I can't wait to haul in it now!
