I got rid of my Delorme GPS and switched to ViewRanger. VR is great , especially if you purchase their unlimited, lifetime download maps. I think the cost is less than $20.00. (As with anything, one has to learn what all you can do with it.) The GPS signal is more a function of the phone than the app. I found that I get great signal with my S5 using VR than I ever got with the Delorme. I tried a lot of GPS trail apps and VR is by far the best.
