Subject: Hay rack mounting?

I recently acquired an aluminum hay rack. Wanting to get it mounted to the top of our aluminum trailer. Planning to put a rubber barrier down between the rack and roof. My husband said we need to use galvanized bolts but everything I've read says that's not good to use with aluminum due to the corrosion, but then the next place I look says stainless steel also isn't a good idea.

What bolts material is the best to use to avoid damaging the trailer?

personally i would use stainless steel bolts. just make sure you are supporting the weight of the hay rack with the structural walls of the trailer and not just sitting it on the roof. good luck!
