Bloomer was on my short list for a LQ rig. In talking with a dealer who sold Elite and a few other brands, he steered me away from Bloomer due to insufficient support in the undercarriage. While he agreed they were built like a tank that was no necessarily true with the support framing. He said he had many Bloomers in the shop with floor issues due to lack of support.
Now of course he may have been saying that because he was not a Bloomer dealer....but what he was saying did make some sense if he was not exaggerating.
Anyone here ever notice anything like this or hear about it?

I think he was trying to sell you an Elite. We don't sell Bloomer either but we work on a lot of them. The only one we had to perform work on the floor was due to being laid on its side in a tornado. I'm not a big fan of the floating floor they came out with but if there was a widespread problem with their floors failing we'd be fixing a lot more of them. My two cents. Thad

Thanks Thad! That helps. What sort of repairs have you seen the most with them. Are the brand specific or just ordinary stuff that goes wrong with any LQ trailer?
The one I am looking at locally is a 2004 3H with mid tack. Very interesting Outlaw LQ design that I have not seen before. Ill send a pic if I can.
It needs a good cleaning and many of the decals are peeling around their edges. Removing the decals can be my work in progress I guess. I will probably take it to a detail shop to see what they can do. They went through some pretty remote places with it so it has its share of branch rubs. Don't know if they can be buffed out or not. Price is $45K. It has been sitting for 3 years so I will likely replace the tires and have the generator and AC serviced too.

I was told by a dealer Bloomers are about number 6 in quality of construction. I've been following the price of new and used trailers for a year and Bloomers seem to bring a more premium price. I don't think they are worth the extra dollars. I just think there are better built trailers, 4 Star that I would consider before Bloomer.
