Can anyone tell me if they have had issues with skylights in LQs breaking down/deteriorating in a short amount of time? Has anyone found a better replacement type if so? The trailer manufacturer basically told me to get used to replacing them every couple of years. I think it is crazy to spend this kind of money on a horse trailer and have to replace the skylights every couple of years.

I have replaced ours. It was normal deterioration. There are a different types of materials that are available. I found it was cheaper to have my dealer order the skylight and install it then it was for me to do it. The UV rays are what shortens the life. My next trailer will not have one. JMT!!
