In Denmark, can you buy ethanol free gas? Ethanol free gas has more power and is better for your engine as it has the most lubrication. Ethanol is corn alcohol, alcohols are drying agents and add nothing to the performance value of the fuels they are put in. Here in America we typically see Diesel engines more in the type truck you mentioned due to the longer service life of the engine but a gas engine that is running properly should have similar pulling power. How did you get an old Chevy and a modern American horse trailer over there?

Redstone, to my knowledge Chevy in America only produced Flex Fuel E-85 trucks. As stated earlier 10% ethanol is okay anything greater will damage the fuel system. Fuel Pump, injectors, and all the seals. I ran a 6.0 for a short time after I bought my 3hLq and it worked the truck, but if you give yourself more time it pulled it. I upgraded to a Duramax and now run a 6.7 Powerstroke yes more power but considerably more cost.

Do you really save money???...E85 fuel economy estimates come out 20-25 percent lower than the highway rating on gasoline.
