We finally got our duel fuel (gas/LP) portable generator. The instructions state that the generator needs to be grounded when used. I know many of you have posted that you leave the generator in the trailer or the back of the truck. So, do you ground the generator and if so how?
Thanks

If the unit permanently mount in a trailer or coach it needs to be grounded to the chassis. If the unit is portable it should be grounded to a ground rod. Most people don't bother grounding portable units.
