Quick question. My trailer did not come with a butt bar or chain to latch after the last horse. Does anyone have a 2000 Kiefer slant showing what the original looked like? There is an aluminum piece on the right side of the trailer just inside the door that looks like a slender cylinder could go down into it and be a portion of the old butt bar setup, but there isn't anything else that it looks like it would connect to on the left side. My trailer has a removable rear tack and center back door divider bar. I don't really feel comfortable only attaching the butt bar to the removable door bar. Would you chain from the left side to the bar and then the bar to the right wall? Seeing how it was originally done might help my thought process on this if anyone has or had one and can post a pic.

We have a 2008 Kiefer 3H gooseneck with collapsable rear tack and center upright which is removable. Our butt bar consists of a spring loaded extendable alumunim bar (tube in tube design) which pivots from the butt wall and pins at the center upright. See attached photos. PM me with your email address if you want more details or higher resolution photos. Regards, 3CW.
