I will be getting a living quarters trailer this fall. I would like to know what is your favorite or must have trailer/camping accessory. One of the things I know I would like is a HiTie system, another is a one touch can opener. So help me out what else is a must have for camping with my hubby and horse? Thanks for your help!

A gas grille/dutch oven that mounts on a bracket attached to the side of the trailer. It uses the on board gas supply, and stores in a carry bag when not in use. No,I dont sell them, but we have one!

I agree with trbomax; a gas grill is great to have when you don't want to cook over a fire or inside the trailer! Another feature I had on a trailer I no longer own was a table that attached to the side of the trailer and then is removed and stowed away while traveling. So in lieu of that, i bring along one of those folding plastic tables. The size is approximately 2.5 by 5 or 6'.
Have fun with your new rig!

Solar charger, I get along fine with a small one, run my furnace,lights,music..CO2/propane detectors.. have been out for two weeks without having to put gas in or listen to a generator. I didn't like the tie system felt every move the horse made all night long. Takes 5 minutes to set up, a one strand electric fence works for me. (I have a solar charger for that also)

I live in the west and frequently ride the high desert areas. I don't always have trees to high line the horses between. I really like the HiTies that let me tie the horses to trailer. They soften or dampen the movements of the horses and thats a BIG deal when I'm trying to sleep at night.

I ran across a great blog site that has an article on "Optional Trailer Features You Need to Add". See: https://www.doubledtrailers.com/eight-must-haves-for-the-humans-in-y... sure to check out their other blogs - lots of good stuff contained here to consider when buying or owning a horse trailer.Regards, ThreeCW

Campchef combo is great, also a jiffy jack for when or if you have a flat.... solar lights to put in areas around your camper, tiedown strap for your awning .. we also gotta have the walkthrough door to use front stall as mud room and clothes and trash bag area...some easy slip on rubber shoes to walk out on wet grass etc to check or feed etc

Hyrdaulic hitch on the GN - saves lots of cranking, swearing, and sweating.... I have the Tie-Rite system on my trailer and love it. I am in the process of buying a new trailer (selling my '03) and will need to get one for the new trailer. I also love my bucket hangers - can get at Jeffers. They hold a water bucket when the horse is tied to the trailer or on the Tie-Rite.
Fans in the horse area are a must down here in South Fla as well. Hand vacs are great for quick cleaning - charge up at home before the trip. Instead of having to brew a whole pot of coffee, I buy the Folgers coffee packs. They are like tea bags with coffee. I heat water in the kettle on the cooktop, then pour into a metal mug (coffee stays hot longer) and let it brew for a couple minutes.
Carabiners are great for hanging hay bags/nets, trash bags, etc and of course, always need plenty of bailing twine
