We've been looking at new Lakota 2014 Charger model gooseneck trailers with finished LQ and glide-out couch area. Anyone own one and have comments? We really like them, have been looking for 2 years at them, and feel they are well made. Anyone have an opinion? Things to look out for? Any trouble with glide-out failure?

I have a 2007 4 horse 10 foot LQ owned since new WITHOUT a slide but have had no issues others than the radio no longer works. Our next trailer will be another Lakota. Our horse shoer is rebuilding a Lakota that was totaled in a rear end hit, he said the company is great to work with and have helped every step of the rebuild.Hope that helps.

I own a 2010 Lakota with a 15 short wall with a slide out. I have not had any issues except the Dometic fridge. I ordered mine from Lakota of Ohio and never saw a Lakota in person until I walked in mine when it was delivered to me to NC from Ohio. I really like the quality and mine still looks brand new.

We have a 2012 with slide out. Looked at them before we bought. Loved the quality of construction. The welds are solid and seams are tight. We ordered ours so we had some custom things done to it. We love the living quarters and the slide out really makes the trailer functional. It feels like home when we are traveling. If you do a search on this site, you can see some reviews on the Lakotas. If we every upgrade our trailer, we will probably buy another one.
