I plan to pull it with a 2011 Ford F250 6.7L diesel truck.  I currently pull a small 23' travel trailer which I will need to sell prior to buying this horse trailer.  When I've loaded the truck bed with heavy shavings I do notice that it 'sinks' quite a bit which makes me wonder if I need some heavy duty springs to prepare it for the GN hitch. This truck is not a dually so I've been warned that I will not have the stability to pull the 'big' trailers which I'm fine with.  I don't need a 3H0--but I do need the storage to be out on longer trips.  We haul all over the south and central US and this travel trailer is just not built to be on the road week after week for extended trips.  I would haul one or two horses, hay , grain, tack, show clothes, etc.Which aluminum trailer would you recommend so that I don't get into big problems with stability on the road.

Air bags or Timbrens will help maintain a level ride when pulling a trailer or carrying a load. Air bags involve some attention of pressure depending upon the load weights. After Timbrens are installed, there is no further driver involvement of the suspension upgrade for the life of the vehicle.

What is involved in installing either of these options?  What is the cost?  Who could do it?  Is this a specialty request or can a dealership do it?

timbrens cost around $300 and anyone with a socket set can install them in a half hour or less, easy job to do.For myself I prefer them over air bags, no maintance and cheaper.

I got a 2007 Ford F250 TD, And I bought last week this 2014 Kiefer 3H SL with 8ft SW Living Quarters...I also installed the timbrens, and I got them on ebay for 170 bucks shipped.

as you can see in the photo, my truck stays Level.

timbrens are super easy to install, they level the load and you don't "feel" the bottoming out loaded or unloaded, just be careful not to exceed the tow capacity or stopping capability of your truck.
