I just bought a trailer from a no title state. I have a notarized bill of sale with the vin number on it. I want to register the trailer in AZ. Is the bill of sale all I need?

I don't know about Arizona, but here in New Mexico I had to have the trailer inspected by the State Police who checked with Colorado to be sure there were no stolen trailer alerts out on the rig. They also contacted the previous owner to make sure that he did indeed sell the trailer to me. The inspection was supposed to be done by the Motor Vehicle Dept., but the State Police do it here as a courtesy.
