I wanted to share my experience with repairing a broken gray water tank. The outlet from my gray water tank broke off at the tank. So the pipe and drain value was completely off the tank. Not wanting to spend the money to replace the tank I found Plasti-Mend on the internet from Amazon.I figured that just using the glue would not hold it, so a trip to Home Depot resulted in buying a 3" PVC flange that would fit inside the pipe. It looks like what is used to attach a toilet to the floor, which I think that is actually what it is for. I glued the the flange to the broken off pipe, put the Plasti-Mend on the flange and then screwed the flange to the tank with the screw holes on the flange. After the Plasti-Mend dried, I still had a small leak, so back to Home Depot for some Flex Seal, the spray on bond stuff. I applied two layers of that two days apart and no leaks! The whole repair cost about $70. While I was under there I saw my septic tank neck was starting to break off, so I used the Plasti-Mend to repair/strengthen the neck and added an additional hanger support near the neck of both tanks. It's not pretty, but it works. Besides, you can't see it unless you look under the trailer.
