I'm in the process of buying a used 4 Star trailer and the company I'm trying to use to finance the trailer is asking for a model number. Do 4 Star trailers have model numbers?

Thanks. I called before I posted but they were closed. My finance company was open later so I was trying to get the answer they needed. My finance company is not a horse trailer financing company and they are requiring a model number but seller says 4 Stars don't have a model number.

Actually there is a model number if the current owner has the original spec sheet from the factory. If not, call the factory and give them the last 5 or 6 numbers of the VIN and they can give you the model number. I have never had a finance company request the model number before and it's really not used for anything other than ordering the trailer. Depending on what year it is, I can try to look it up if you can give me some details such as number of horse stalls, GN or BP, stock, horse, or stock combo? Let me know if I can help out.....
