I'm looking at a Sooner 97 model.  I'm trying to figure out the value of the trailer since it is 16 yo.  It is a 3H with dinette, microwave, fridge, separate toiletand shower.  New tires, although they are truck tires not trailer tires (I don't know if that makes a difference---I do know Discount Tire will not put a truck tire on a trailer for some reason I do not know yet!).  They want 16,000 for the trailer.  i plan on hooking the trailer up to electricity and running everything to make sure all works, no leaks ad if there is  leak--where it is and what it may cost to get corrected.  It's a great trailer for what we need, but a little pricey I thought for a 97.  Can anyone help me out here?  I sure do appreciate it!

If it's FRP, I'd stay away from it.

If it is an FRP trailer; it is pricey, but if it's aluminum frame and skin; it's right in the ball park.
