Picked up a 1996 Logan Comp 3H GN for 3K,

Quick question about torsion axles, when sitting at rest empty, is that the angle the swing arm should be?

The axles are welded on (UGH), and of course the ONLY rust is on the tube frame at the axle (another thread)

So how do you check torsion axles for proper operation??

Is 45 deg up the proper unloaded position?

Anything I need to kown about cutting them off and rewelding them on??

Thanks,

Nick
