While I have no experience with LED load lights, I did installed LED backup lights on my truck; I'm not impressed. They are bright, but don't flood the area with light like I was expecting. My truck has the grommet mount style lights, so this wasn't an LED bulb plugged into a factory housing. I bought a quality brand name, so I don't think brand is a factor. I planned on replacing the trailer stall lights with LED, but now I'm hesitant unless I can see the lamp in action before I buy it.

I had oval incandescent back-up lites in the horse area. Switched them to oval LED...I like them much better. Think they are Peterson Manufacturing...came on my Hillsboro flatbed.

Thanks for the insight. I have the halogen outside and incendenset oval inside. I think I will only swap the inside to the LEDs. I'm getting where I can see thing anymore and need more light.
