Soon heading to stay in a cabin at Laurel Retreat near Jamestown, TN. Looking forward to the riding and sitting on the deck's hot tub afterwards. Can anyone give suggestions on places to dine? I'd heard about Charit Lodge but was told that we'd have to trailer over there and ride on in if we wanted to eat. I'd sure appreciate some opinions on good eating spots when we decide to dine out.

Tks, and actually had called the restaurant yesterday and spoke with the owner. I learned that they are only open certain days and do offer other dishes than just German food. Any recommendations as to what to order? lol

I have eaten there several times....eat the German foods. So good. Almost like being back in Germany.
