I made an earlier post about some fans in my trailer, these fans were on the trailer when I bought it and it appears someone added a mess of wires to put them in...I am trying to figure out which wires do what.
I have a 2001 Exiss, the blue wire from the pickup goes to the red of the trailer....does this run my brakes? Any idea what the blue wire going into the trailer does?

Auxiliary = 12 volt. 2 terms for the same circuit.
Thanks RT....I am going to use a test light to check my particular setup but for future reference are these usually wired to the same place in the tow vehicle? In other words if one is always hot are they both always hot or can they be wired diffrently?

Typically the center pin (labeled AUX.) of most newer trucks with a 7 way plug is wired to the backup lights. All of the trucks I have owned were this way. I wired my rear flood lights to come on when the truck is in reverse. That's a geat help when getting in somewhere after dark, as I usually seem to manage...lol.
