Am trying an SFS Aquashed cover on my truck camper this winter. Will let you know my opinion in the spring whether it was a good idea or not. Already learned one lesson. I did pad the sharp parts on the top of the camper, but one of the pads slipped and the aquashed does tear a bit easily. Good news is, they do give you some patch material, so that was fixed quickly (I backed that up with some Gorilla tape underneath. can't hurt, might help) and hopefully padding is more secure in that corner now. My fault really, but just so you know how important it is to pad any sharp bits. In this case it was the gutter on the left side. The camper has the AC unit and other vents to hold it up a bit, whereas most trailers it would just lay flat on the top. Not sure how that would effect it's breathability and whatnot. Otherwise, it seems to be a pretty good product for the job in a high moisture climate. At the least, for winter use. For a car, I'd think a portable tent garage might be a better way to go?
